The Academic and Examination Board is the governing body at One World International School that manages the academic quality of the school’s curriculum and is in charge of developing the examination and assessment procedures at the school.
Developing the policies and procedures that ensure all students enjoy a high-quality academic experience. This includes verifying that the content presented in the curriculum is age-appropriate, academically competitive and relevant to the entrance exams needed for higher education.
Working with all staff members to ensure that the policies and procedures established by the board are complied with, in the classroom setting.
Conducting an annual review of all policies and procedures to make sure that they stay current.
Moderating the examinations and the assessment process.
Reviewing and handling all appeals submitted by students in regard to examination or assessment matters.
Currently serves as the Board Chair and is the Head of School of OWIS Nanyang. He has earned a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree in History from University of Plymouth, a Postgraduate Certificate in Education from University of Worcester, and the National Professional Qualification for Headship (NPQH).
Currently serves as an at-large member of the AEB. Mr Morris is the Head of School of OWIS Digital Campus. He holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) and a Master of Arts (MA) in Literae Humaniores from St. Anne’s College, Oxford University. He also earned a Postgraduate Certification of Education (PGCE) in Classics and Drama from St. Catharine’s College, Cambridge University and the National Professional Qualification for Headship (NPQH) from the National College, UK.
Currently serves as an at-large member of the AEB. She is the Principal of OWIS Newton*. She has a Bachelor of Applied Science degree from University of Guelph, Canada, a Bachelor of Education degree from Lakehead University, Canada, and a Master of Education degree from Columbia College, USA. She also holds a Certificate of International Leadership from Principal Training Centre, UK, besides other academic qualifications.
Currently serves as an at-large member of the AEB. She is the Head of Early Childhood and Primary School, OWIS Nanyang. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in English from the City University of Hong Kong, Postgraduate Diploma in Education from the University of Hong Kong, and Master’s Degree in Literary Arts from the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
Currently serves as an at-large member of the AEB. She is the Head of Secondary School, OWIS Nanyang. Joanne holds extensive legal and academic qualifications from the United Kingdom. She earned her LLB (Hons) in Law from South Bank University, followed by the Bar Vocational Course at the Inns of Court School of Law. In 1996, she was admitted as a full member of Middle Temple and was called to the Bar of England and Wales in 1997, obtaining her Full Practising Certificate in 1998. She further pursued advanced studies with an LLM in International Law from the University of Durham and completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) at Sunderland University, strengthening her teaching credentials.
Currently serves as an at-large member of the AEB. Bob is Senior Academic Head – Cluster Schools at Global Schools Foundation. He holds a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Queen’s University and a Master of Business Administration in Business Management and Educational Leadership from University of Liverpool.
Mr Wong is the Senior Coordinator for Secondary School at OWIS Digital Campus. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics (Economics and Finance) from the University of Sydney, Australia and has also completed a Post-Graduate Diploma in Education at the National Institute of Education, Nanyang Technological University of Singapore.
Currently serves as an at-large member of the AEB. Adrian is the Senior Head of Department for Student Affairs at OWIS Digital Campus. He holds a PGCE in Primary (specialised in Mathematics) from The University of Exeter and a Bachelor’s Degree (Hons) in Quantity Surveying from Birmingham City University.
Serves as the Chairman of the school managers. He is the Chairman and Co-founder of the Global Schools Foundation.
He is the Deputy CEO of Global Schools Foundation.
He is a Partner at Apollo Global Management Inc.
